I have worked as a documentary television editor for many years.
I recently edited three one-hour episodes of Mega Art, following the work of international sculptor Andrew Rogers as he creates giant land art projects in Turkey, Kenya and Antarctica. The series was sold to many networks in America and Europe.
I also edited several episodes of an earlier series about the same artist, called Monumental Vision.
In 2012, I took over as editor on “Larrikin Lad”, a one hour documentary about the irrepressible Warren Fahey, the ‘music man’ who brought world music to Australia and is also one of our foremost folklore historians.
I have also edited a documentary series on the History of the Australian SAS, produced and directed by Professor Bruce Horsfield. I was co-director on the first four episodes.
In 2000, I directed a one hour documentary called “Dream Believers” for SBS, which followed the fortunes of a group of network marketers hoping to make a fortune.
I’ve also edited the documentaries “Stranger in My Skin” for the SBS Everyday Brave series, “Following the Rabbit Proof Fence”, “A Human Search”, “The Real Flying Doctors”, “Cyprus: A People Divided”, the Feature film “Mad Bomber In Love” and drama “The Killing of Angelo Tsakos”.
Before then, I worked as an assistant editor to Sara Bennet and Ray Thomas among others, working on television series like “Fields of Fire”, feature films “Pandemonium”and “Australian Dream” and documentary series like “Roads to Xanadu” at Film Australia.
